Diagnosis and Treatment

The initial assessment and treatment will take between 30 and 45 minutes (longer if necessary) and provide you with an accurate and thorough diagnosis of your particular problem. You will also get a full explanation of your condition and how we will resolve it. You will leave your initial treatment safe in the knowledge that all involved know exactly what is required to return you to full health.
Most patients will receive a customised, personal home exercise program to correct any underlying problems. Each additional follow up appointment will be of 30 minutes duration.

The treatment protocols offered at Physiowise include a varied range of physiotherapeutic techniques to speed up your recovery, including:

Manual Therapy : joint and spinal mobilisation and manipulation to reduce pain and stiffness and help improve range of movement

Exercise programmes : designed to improve joint mobility and strengthen muscles

Electrotherapy : such as ultrasound, to speed up the healing process
